Just recently on the Bad Kitty Blog, an article was written and posted by Claire Griffin Sterrett.  It is a sad story but the message is powerful.  Pole dancer Pamela Burgess was shot and killed by her ex-boyfriend, a man who had in the past been abusive towards her. Pamela was survived by their son, Kingston.  She was a pole dancer in South Carolina.  Sterrett told the story of Pamela and how poling had improved her life.  She then goes into detail on signs of domestic abuse and how you can read them.  Domestic violence is a serious problem in our world, but you can make a difference by understanding the signs early, or by reading signs of family and/or friends.
