Atlantic Pole Championships competitor Sarah Haskins wrote about her experience competing last weekend in the Pole Sport Organization event for US News Health. In an article geared towards the mainstream she discussed pole fitness and the blend of athleticism and artistry it provides. Haskins also discussed how those looking to enter pole dancing (or any athletic endeavor) can push past negative thinking and self-doubt. “By changing my mindset, I can appreciate the uniqueness and physical ability of the competitors whom I feel are “better” and use that as insight into the things I know I’d like to improve in my own craft. In the meantime, I focus instead on the things I’m good at,” Haskins writes. To read the full story click here.
