Nadia Sharif has been pole dancing since 2007. She installed a pole in her bedroom and started teaching herself from watching youtube videos of some popular favorites, including Karol Helms, Felix Cane and Jenyne Butterfly. She then started competing in 2008 at the first and only Pole Star Invitational. Nadia began teaching in 2009 at X-Polesitions, until it’s closing in 2011. She has performed with troops such as the Verti-Girls, Pole Revolt and with doubles partner Mina Mortezaie. In 2010, Nadia and Mina won first place in the Bi-Poler Category at the Tri-Pole Challenge! Since then, she has competed in and won second place in the following competitions: California Pole Dance Championship 2010 and 2011, USPDF Amateur Division 2011. Sharif also won first place in 2009 at the Vertical Pole Challenge in Las Vegas. Her extensive experience in competitions has kept Nadia on the top of her game. On February 26, 2012, she will compete for the title of Champion at the National Aerial Pole Art Championships! And, announcing pre-maturely, this amazing pole’r will receive the title of United Pole Artists Pro-Poler of the Month for March 2012.
