One-armed pole dancer Deb Roach has defied odds in becoming a competitive pole dancer and instructor. Originally from Australia and now living in the UK Deb won the disabled division of the 2012 International Pole Championship as well as the disabled division of PoleFit in 2013. She will be teaching workshops at the International Pole Convention in New Orleans later this year. The Australian Times spoke to Deb about her inspiration, struggles and accomplishments. “I wanted to get up on that stage and show that I wasn’t repulsive, that my body wasn’t disgusting and didn’t need to be hidden. I was just as worthy of expression and display, and I was just as sexy as they were,” she says. To read the full story click here.
