International Pole Sports Federation (IPSF) founder, KT Coates, is looking for a second world record for the most people pole dancing at the same time while simultaneously raising money for several charities.
In 2006, the IPSF organized event set the world record with 206 pole dancers dancing on the same day and raised over £50,000 for cancer charities. This year they hope to break the record on February 22nd.
How it works (via Facebook IPSF event):
What you will need is to teach your participants a short, basic routine (which will be posted onto this page very soon.) Then on the 22nd February you will need to get two adjudicators (they must be people of standing with in the community such as a doctor, teacher or mayor) to supervise you whilst you repeat the routine for 6 minutes. Your recording of the attempt will need to be sent to the IPSF, so that the World Record committee can decide if they will accept or decline each studios participation.
